Requirements

1. Documents needed for a Umrah Visa:

Original passport valid for at least 6 months from traveling date (with enough blank pages for visa).

For non-Canadian residents, please provide clear copies of the front and back of the Permanent Resident Card (PRC).

3 recent passport-size photos with your name signature on the back of the photos.

Original vaccination certificate for Meningitis (Groups ACYW-135) vaccine. Vaccination is valid for 3 years.

If you are not carrying a Muslim name, a certificate from the Imam of your mosque indicating that you are a Muslim is required.
For Ladies Traveling for Umrah:

Married woman who is traveling WITH HER HUSBAND must provide proof of their marriage by way of one of the following:

  1. Marriage Certificate  (Original & Copy)

When it is hard to obtain an original Marriage Certificate, and you are over 45 years of age, you must present the following documents:

  1. A letter STAMPED and SEALED from a listed Muslim Association, and NOTARIZED by a Notary Public, confirming the marriage with the signature of TWO witnesses.  Each witness must provide a copy of their passport or drivers license that shows their signature.
  2. PLUS ONE of the following documents:
    • Any ancient passport that indicates the name of the other spouse
    • A copy of the Landed Immigrant document that indicates the name of the other spouse
    • A birth certificate of a child that indicates the name of the mother and father.

Married woman who is traveling WITHOUT HER HUSBAND but WITH A LEGAL MAHRAM must provide the following:

  1. A letter of no objection from her husband allowing her to accompany a legal mahram (son, brother, father, etc.) from the family.  The letter must be signed and stamped by a NOTARY (lawyer).  The letter must include the name of the mahram with whom she is traveling and their relationship.
  2. PLUS document(s) showing proof of relationship of the woman with the mahram with whom she is traveling.

Woman who is SINGLE, DIVORCED OR WIDOWED and traveling WITH A LEGAL MAHRAM must provide the following:

  1. A letter of no objection from her closest male relative, indicating his relationship with her, and allowing her to accompany a legal mahram (son, brother, father, etc.) from the family.  The letter must be signed and stamped by a NOTARY (lawyer).  The letter must include the name of the mahram with whom she is traveling and their relationship.
  2. For woman who is DIVORCED or WIDOWED, proof of MARITAL STATUS such as DIVORCE CERTIFICATE or DEATH CERTIFICATE is also required.
  3. PLUS document(s) showing proof of relationship of the woman with the mahram with whom she is traveling.

Woman OVER 45 who is traveling WITHOUT A MAHRAM MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING:

  1. For SINGLE, DIVORCED or WIDOWED woman, a letter from her closest male relative (mahram), indicating his relationship with her, and giving her permission to travel for Hajj with Dar El Salam Hajj Group.  The letter must be signed and stamped by a NOTARY (lawyer) and must attest to the relationship indicated in the letter.
  2. For a MARRIED woman, a letter from her husband allowing her permission to travel for Hajj with Dar El Salam Hajj Group.  The letter must be signed and stamped by a NOTARY (lawyer) and must attest to the relationship indicated in the letter.  In addition, you must attach the marriage certificate as proof of relationship.

For woman who is DIVORCED or WIDOWED, proof of MARITAL STATUS such as DIVORCE CERTIFICATE or DEATH CERTIFICATE is also required.

Terms & Conditions:

Balance should be paid in full 60 days before departure.

Hajj Visa fees, designated by the Saudi government, is payable in Saudi Riyals through Bank Drafts.  Please contact the office for details on this year’s Hajj Visa fees.

Once you have indicated your departure date, no changes are allowed.
After making a reservation with us:

Once you make a reservation, you will be contacted with a confirmation of your reservation, whether by email, fax, or mail (within 5 business days). Once we receive your deposit/payment for your reservation, you will be receiving a confirmation letter, invoice and visa application. You can then fill out the visa application and return it by the due date, along with your passport and other requirements as indicated in the list above.
